Meet Rebecca: Author of The Lost Sock, Go On Outside, and more!

This fall, Brown Paper Fox is thrilled to introduce 4 new titles from author Rebecca du Preez.

Augustus the Bear (illustrated by Kelsey Marshalsey) follows an adorable and kind bear as he and his forest friends navigate a missing crumble, finding ways to be kind and understanding to others, even when they've done something wrong.

Go On Outside (illustrated by Lauren Mclardy) helps children (and adults) to take a step back outside and enjoy nature and the world around them.

The Lost Sock (illustrated by Kelsey Marshalsey) answers the age-old question — Where do socks go when they're lost in the wash? A fun adventure-mystery perfect to make kids giggle and think of their own fun sock adventures.

A Prayer for My Son/Daughter (illustrated by Martha Ratcliff) is a beautiful collection of poems for a parent who prays.

To celebrate these amazing titles, we sat down with Rebecca to talk about her inspiration, writing process, and what makes her books so special.
